Lightbox 2 - JavaScript For Image Overlay

From the author’s website (quoting):

Lightbox is a simple, unobtrusive script used to overlay images on the current page. It’s a snap to setup and works on all modern browsers. (end of qoute)

I guess you all know a website where images or photos are not shown on a new page or in a new window, but in a layer that appears over the current page - while the rest of the page is getting slightly darker.

Well, now you can do so, too - with this nice JavaScript.
