Confusing German Spam Mail
I received a very confusing spam mail that was supposedly sent by snakecirty.de. The administrators assure that this mail was not sent by them as can be read in this thread. Here’s what the spam mail looks like (XXXXXXXXXX = URL / eMail): From: Verein Schutzgemeinschaft Date: 10.11.2006 14:46 Subject: Bitte sofort an die Rechsabteilung von XXXXXXXXXX weiterleiten. Betr.: Evtl. Strafanzeige To: XXXXXXXXXX Eilt sehr! In Ihrem Interesse! My New Sapphire Radeon X1900XT (256 MB)
As promised in this post I finally purchased a new GFX accelerator – a brand new Sapphire Radeon X1900XT (256 MB) – not the GT… and it is fantastic! I tried to run 3DMark06 several times and always came across a “device lost” error… then I updated the ATI CATALYST(R) Control Center to version 6.10 and shut down all programs that were running in the background… and guess what: it worked! Esprit Watch “Equalizer” In Orange No Longer Produced?
I tried to get that watch on ebay after having watched that auction for some time. Unfortunately, I was overbid… but that wouldn’t be so bad if there were a new auction for this watch. But damn: that auction where I was overbid was the last one! I contacted the seller, and he told me that there was no hope to get another one, because it was a special edition for Austria and it will no longer be produced!
