An Evening With “Rue Royale”

Last Saturday, I had the chance to attend a “private event” at a friend’s house: Ruth & Brookln Dekker aka “Rue Royale”. As you can read on their Facebook site, they label their music “Indie-Acoustic-Folk-Pop”. Although that evening a PA system was present, they ended up playing completely unplugged: acoustic guitar, metallophone, shaker, bass drum – that was it. After their show, I had the chance to talk to them for a little while – they are some really nice people.
