CSS Naked Day 2009

I just registered for CSS Naked Day at naked.dustindiaz.com. It just made me realize that my theme design kind of sucks.

Quote from that website:

The idea behind this event is to promote Web Standards. Plain and simple. This includes proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and of course, a good ‘ol play on words. It’s time to show off your <body>. (end of quote)

To determine the CSS Naked Day date and to strip off the CSS from the theme, I am using the WordPress Plugin that can be found here. CSS Naked Day should start in less than 2 hours from now at my place, but in some places, it is already April 9th. So be sure to set the time to the recommended 48 hours (which I forgot at first).

OK, I admit: that hint comes a little late, so just save it for next year. :-)

Also, if you are using the PHP Speedy WordPress Plugin, be sure to deactivate it when the time is near, because the CSS Naked Day plugin does not seem to work with that one activated.

BTW: I find the PHP Speedy WordPress Plugin quite handy!

OK, websites: get naked!

Oh, and before I forget:
A big thankyou to Frank Bültge for the reminder!
