This movie has already been distributed on DVD in the video stores in Germany since October 2008. You can even buy it at amazon.de already. Funny… why have I never heard of it before? And why does firstshowing.net say (quoting)

Magnet Releasing will debut Chocolate in limited theaters starting on February 6th, 2009. (end of quote)

IMDB says something else.

Hmm… whatever – that way, I can rent it within the next few days and see if it is as good as the trailer promises – or better yet: I just buy it from Amazon right this instant.
