I just recently updated my WordPress plugins, and after I downloaded Maintenance Mode (v4.0) and uploaded it onto my WordPress blog, Filosofo Comments Preview threw an error that said: Call to undefined function get_currentuserinfo()… That was pretty odd, because both plugins worked fine before – now, after updating one of them, the other one threw an error. … Read entire article »

Für meine deutschen Filmfreunde gibt es hier jetzt einen kleinen Leckerbissen: www.schnittberichte.com Mein Lieblings-Schnittbericht ist der von John Rambo (Zitatbeginn): Verglichen wurde die geschnittene FSK 16-DVD mit der ungeschnittenen SPIO/JK-DVD (beide von Warner Bros.). 61 Schnitte, 1 Tonzensur = 455,52 Sekunden bzw. ca. 7 Minuten 35,5 Sekunden (Zitatende) Bei rd. 87 Minuten in der SPIO/JK-Fassung sind das stolze 8,5% des Filmes, die geschnitten wurden. … Read entire article »

Image: amazon.co.uk I just discovered this nice “Batman – The Dark Knight” 2-Disc Batmask Edition at amazon.co.uk for ca. £18, and my heart (a collector’s one) instantly skipped a beat – especially when you consider the current exchange rate with the Euro. But after reading the reviews, I have decided NOT to buy it. They state – of course – a brilliant movie… but the packaging seems to be poor, and the Batmask actually is no real “for-the-face” batmask: the DVD-case has the shape of a batmask. Well, that was an interesting ending of 2008: On Christmas Eve 2008, Suzan Summer Ghantous said “Yes” after I asked her the magic question (which I am sure you can figure out yourself)! Suzan Summer Ghantous, I love you from the bottom of my heart! After she had recovered from the shock, we had some nice holidays at my parents and a lovely New Year’s Eve at Tim’s.
