CommentLUVWhat about giving back some LUV to your blog readers who help you make it more interesting by leaving a comment?

That seems to have been exactly in Andy’s mind when he created this nice WordPress plugin.

The basic idea is the following: you allow your readers to leave a link to one of their latest posts below the actual comment.

This, quoting Andy:

(…) has been found to increase comments and traffic to blogs and their commentators. (end of quote)

The current version 2.5.3 works with AJAX. As soon as you type in your URL, you can choose the latest post to be added to your comment. Andy is really working hard on this, and I am glad that I, myself, had a chance to add my 2 cents. :-)

Andy has built a nice community around this plugin. If you register at www.commentluv.com, you can choose from your 10 recent posts instead of only the last one. He is also working on a stats service and more stuff, so be sure to check that site after installing the WordPress plugin.

The post ends here. Wanna leave a response? Have Your Say!

Yeah, I know… but this preview is actually so much better than any AJAX one because those plugins always seem to mess with other code.
