Windows Explorer Does Not Refresh Window Content
Whenever I add a file or folder in Windows Explorer (XP), it is added at the end of all files - although I want to have them automatically sorted by name. Even pressing F5 for a refresh does not work. The only possibility is “View -> Sort Items -> By Name” (I am using the German Windows, so it might be named differently in English).
Does anyone know how to make it auto-refresh the content?
I found some posts which say one should change the DWORD called “UpdateMode” under the registry path
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Update].
Some say it has to be “00000001″, some say “00000000″.
Both do not seem to work for me…
