On March 26th, 2008, I pre-ordered the special CD/DVD-edition of R.E.M.’s new album “Accelerate”. It was posted by Amazon on the following day and was supposed to be here at my place today.

But somehow, the “Deutsche Post” resp. “DHL” seemed to be unable to deliver it on time to the so-called “Packstation” near my place. I checked the status on the internet several times, and with the time stamp “6:20 AM” it said that it was ready to be delivered. I called DHL and they said that the driver might still be on his way, and that he would probably deliver it in the late afternoon around 5:30 PM.

Here I am now: with NO CD, yet!
It better be there by tomorrow, or I get really angry!

Lucky “DHL”… it arrived today… got the SMS @ 08:02:27 AM.

Haven’t listened to it, yet - still got some stuff to do (take garbage to the tip).
I might write down something later.

BTW: R.E.M.’s gonna perform on “Wetten Dass…?” tonight!
