As to read in the R.E.M. news from February 22nd, 2008, on remhq.com, R.E.M. have launched a mini site for their forthcoming 14th studio album, “Accelerate”. Their 2008 North America tour will begin on March 8th, 2008, in Big Cypress, FL. They will play London on March 24th, 2008, and the European tour will continue on Juli 2nd, 2008, in Amsterdam. What a pity they won’t play Hannover this time… their Hannover concert in the “TUI Arena” on February 5th, 2005, was divine.

Seriously, it was about time for R.E.M. to give us a new album - and I think it is gonna be awesome! I must admit that I am always a little bit scared each time a new album comes out… what will it be like? Will I like it? What if I won’t?

Well, fortunately, this scenario has never happened so far… and I just bought their new single “Supernatural Superserious” which I normally don’t do (buying singles, that is) - awesome song! If the whole album is as good, I’ll love it!

So, can’t wait to see you in Berlin on July 16th, 2008, guys!
