We all know this situation: you would like to edit a comment you have made AFTER you pressed the “Submit!” button (maybe because of a mistype, maybe you want to add/delete something).

Normally, visitors to a WordPress blog will not be able to edit a comment once they have pressed the “Submit!” button - unless they need to register and have the necessary rights.

With this nice plugin, your users can edit their comments for a period of 15 minutes - the time that is left for editing can be shown as a dynamic countdown. In addition to that, this plugin makes use of AJAX, so the reloading of the whole page is not necessary - only the (edited) comments will be reloaded.

Admins can edit, delete or mark comments as spam directly from the blog view.

Installing this plugin is really very simple - just copy it to your plugin folder and activate it, that’s all! You don’t need to change anything manually - unless you want to adjust the appearance via CSS.

[Update from 2007-12-05]
Somehow, it seems like this plugin does not work any longer. I do not know the reason, for I have not changed anything within my templates… hm, maybe another plugin interacts. Well, maybe I will integrate it again as soon as my own template is finished (if ever, that is).

As I always say: good work should be honored. :-)
