ELA-Plugin Vs. Static Front Page In WordPress
I noticed that setting up a static front page - which is officially supported since WP 2.1 - does not work when the “Extended Live Archive” plugin is activated (relates to v0.10beta R18).
This is such a pity, because with developing my own theme, I want a static page to be displayed as main page (where some general info about the site is gathered) rather than directly showing the posts section.
Hm, I hope there will be a fix soon. Otherwise, I will have to look around for a different way of showing my archives…

[Update from 2007-09-30]
I decided to deactivate ELA and replace it with SRG Clean Archives.
