As recently described here, I solved the problem with incoming pingbacks not showing up. The problem was: now ANY pingback was shown - even my own posts that link to other posts on my blog were shown as pingbacks!

As described in this post, I had some problems with incoming pingbacks, meaning that they wouldn’t show up.
I have now solved the problem!
It was all about the “Anti Spam Image” plugin, a captcha for comments, which would interfere with the pingback procedure and throw all pingbacks away.

I came across two WP plugins that help you use the WepSnapr.com service to see preview bubbles when an external link is hovered. I have decided to use XSD_Snapr - but see for yourself which one fits your needs best.
