WordPress Plugin “Popularity Contest”
From the author’s website (quoting):
Popularity Contest is a WordPress plugin that keeps track of activity on your blog and calculates a popularity percentage for each post and page. (end of quote)
This plugin adds a new entry “Most Popular Posts” to the dashboard where you can see detailed information about the activity on your posts. It lets you even use some template tags to list the most popular posts. I use it to display the 5 most popular posts in the sidebar.
Works fine with WP 2.1.3 here. Nice!
I first came across this plugin via Steve (author of wordpressguy.com) who was so friendly to put a link back to my weblog which I saw on my incoming technorati links list.
