Watching Counterstrike Matches Live Via HLTV
Today, I watched some Counterstrike matches online via HLTV (Half Life TV) for the first time, and I must say it’s really interesting!
You can access online matches via hltv.org as well as via blank-tv.de.
They also provide a lot of demos - to learn from the best.
If you encounter the following problem…
You can’t connect to matches that are played on the map de_tuscan. There seems to be a problem downloading the models-files (.mdl).
… here is a solution:
Do a google search for de_tuscan download and download the map as .zip-file which is also including the .mdl-files. Extract the files into your Steam folder (\Valve\SteamApps\your-email-name-before-@\counter-strike\cstrike\) using the subfolder structure of the .zip-file. If you purchased the German version of CS, make sure you put the files into the “\cstrike_german\” folder instead of “\cstrike\“.
