I tested my current PC-Configuration with Futuremark’s 3DMark06 Basic (free limited version, 576 MB), and the results were very, very frustrating… :-(

My current configuration:

  • Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 3,00GHz
  • Memory: 1,0 GB RAM
  • Graphics Adapter: ATI Radeon X300 (SE, I suppose)
  • Resolution tested: 1280 x 1024

And these are the (very, very frustrating) results:

I am planning to buy a new graphics adapter, and I guess it will be one of the ATI Radeon X1900 series, which have much better results (see the project search site):

At the moment, Alternate has a nice offer for a Sapphire Radeon X1900GT - I guess 199 € is a good price.
