Today, I listened to the soundtrack of the first “Pirates”-movie again, and I must say that it is by far one of the most interesting soundtracks I have ever listened to. This piece of music composed by Klaus Badelt was “overproduced” by Hans Zimmer, whose influence one notices instantly. In my opinion, it is only overtopped by the famous “Braveheart” soundtrack by James Horner… well, the “Last Unicorn” soundtrack by “America” is a masterpiece, too, but who would confess that?
