A Longed For Response

On August 14th, I wrote an eMail to a friend of mine who has been living in the US now for several months (or is it years already?). I haven’t heard from him for a long time, and that is so not his way. Then I went on a business trip for a week, and until that day, he had not answered yet, which made me very sad because we have been really good friends for a long, long time now. I always thought that, with the internet, keeping in touch was much easier… was I to be proved wrong?

No, I wasn’t!

Today was the fist day after the business trip that I checked my eMails again, and see: I got an answer, which made me really happy! Now I hope that we manage to hear from each other more often… so I’ll go and write an answer now.. the sooner, the better!
