bandnews.org
I just happend to find bandnews.org, where you can select up to 100 bands. The service then collects news (via webrobot), and you can subscribe to them via RSS-feed. Registration with user name and eMail is necessary.
nfortunately, this did not work so well… I can only add up to 5 bands, and my RSS-reader (which is Thunderbird) denies the URL because it “is no valid RSS-feed”.
I have written a letter to the webmasters. Maybe they can tell me what went wrong.

I tried to clear the cache and then re-logged in. Now my bands were all gone, while the news showed 8 bands whereas my limitation was still 5 bands! RSS-feed still does not work. Strange…

Still, no new feed, no answer from the webmasters…
